Vincent House seeks Program Coordinator

Vincent House is a community-based program of Van Gogh’s Palette, Inc.  Founded by two parents, Elliott and Dianne Steele, who witnessed a daughter’s struggle with a mental illness, Vincent House is dedicated to transforming the lives of those affected by mental health challenges.

Job Summary:

• Vincent House is seeking a bright, innovative and competent professional to oversee its pre-vocational, social, and employment programs.

• The ideal candidate will possess the right balance of hands-on skills needed to guide daily operations and the knowledge base needed to create effective rehabilitation options for persons living with a mental illness.

• This position assumes responsibility for the integrity and performance of all Vincent House programs.

Education Requirements:

• Master of Arts/Science degree in rehabilitation, social work or counseling, and possess corresponding licensure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three to five years working in rehabilitation and/or mental health services
• Direct experience providing supervision is highly preferred
• Ability for independent judgment and initiative
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Passion for excellence
• Possess a high level of motivation and commitment
• Ability to provide leadership within a team setting
• Competent in the areas of public speaking and community relations
