POSITION: CLUB HOUSE DIRECTOR
LOCATION: TRAVERSE CITY

HOURS: 1.0 FTE
SALARY RANGE: Supervisor VII: $56,969 - $66,419

Has overall responsibility for the day to day operation of the Traverse House program. Responsible for developing and keeping a vision for the growth and success of the clubhouse. Central to this responsibility is the engagement of members and staff in all aspects of clubhouse operations. Shall strongly believe in Recovery, be able to demonstrate a commitment to the principles and philosophy of the clubhouse model, and will promote fidelity with the International Center for Clubhouse Development Self-Study and Certification Protocols. Shall oversee the development of transitional employment programs, supervise clubhouse staff, and will assist in leading work units as is needed. Shall foster a sense of community amongst members, staff and advisory committee members and work to create a positive place for Traverse House in the community.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS (listing Position Specific functions first):
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Master's Degree in Social Work, from an accredited university. Must have experience and training in the clubhouse model.
Participate in an ICCD, (International Center for Clubhouse Development), 3 week training program at an ICCD approved training site.
Will have a minimum of three (3) years professional experience in working with adults with mental illness
LICENSING or CERTIFICATIONS:
Must have licensure with the State of Michigan as a fully licensed Masters Social Worker. Limited Licensed Masters Social Worker considered. Must maintain licensure.
