Peace River Center seeks Clubhouse Director

Position: Clubhouse Director
Location: Lakeland, Florida

Peace River Center, a private, not for profit community, mental health organization seeks a Clubhouse Director who exhibits high energy, creativity and flexibility as well as a strong public persona and a high level of understanding and commitment to Clubhouse values and principles.

Responsibilities:

• The Clubhouse Director is responsible for the daily management of the work ordered day at the Clubhouse
• Supervision of the Clubhouse staff
• Ensurse the model and standards of the International Center for Clubhouse Development are followed in all areas of the program.
• Capacity to work long hours
• Represent the Clubhouse publicly
• Teach the model and manage the day-to-day operations of the complicated community service program.

 Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Human Services Discipline from an accredited College or University
• 1 year experience in a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program and experience with program development , fund raising, and community resource building preferred.
• Must have a valid driver license, have a good, clean driving record, and be at least 25 years of age to meet insurance requirements.
