Tho Opportunity Center seeks Clubhouse Director

Location: Bay City, Michigan, USA

Overview:

The Opportunity Center is a Clubhouse or group experience for adults with serious mental health issues that provides skill development and training in areas such as:

employment
community involvement
emotional adjustment
psychiatric stability, and
adult daily living

Services are designed to help members gain control of the debilitating aspects of their illness. Members learn to achieve personal, community, and social competencies, and to establish support systems in their lives. The program is community-based. Voluntary participation encourages members to more fully participate in the Clubhouse.

Responsibilities/ Requirements include:

Supervisory experience
Experience working with individuals recovering with psychiatric disorders.
Assuring program compliance with relevant standards and certification
Staff supervision
Developing community connections
Financial supervision, and being a part of agency administrative team.
Some evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to assure smooth and efficient operation of all aspects of the program.
Ability to encourage, support and motivate others.
Must have good driving record.
Criminal records check and drug screen required

Qualifications:

Must possess proper licensure/certification/registration by State of Michigan or
national organization to provide health care services.
Strong preference given to individuals with Clubhouse experience.
