Denise Hast
Denise Hast was born and lived for many years in Worcester, Massachusetts. She has two grown sons currently living in Massachusetts.
In 1995, Denise joined Genesis Club in Worcester. She worked in the Training Unit through which Genesis teams trained many Clubhouses around the world. She also did a Transitional Employment placement in the Mailroom at the Worcester Art Museum. In 1998, she joined the International Center for Clubhouse Development’s (ICCD) Faculty for Clubhouse Development, the group responsible for international certification. Doing post training site visits and faculty certification work, she has currently visited Clubhouse programs in 11 countries.
In 2001, Denise was invited to be an intern for the ICCD. That experience led to a full time position on the staff of the ICCD in 2003. She is currently the ICCD’s Coordinator of Membership Services. Among her varied duties, Denise coordinates the many tasks involved in certification visits for Clubhouses around the world
