Center Club seeks Clubhouse Worker

Clubhouse Worker
Location: Boston, MA
Overview:
Center Club the oldest and one of the largest Clubhouses in New England. Since 1959 we have been dedicated to the principles of self-help, peer support, and empowerment. We currently have one full time position open in the Membership Services and Education Unit, and one part time position open in the Food Service and Social Activities Unit.
Responsibilities
The Clubhouse Worker will:
Work side by side with members in work units.
Provide job coaching services for members involved in all types of employment: Transitional, Supported, and Independent.
Facilitate social activities, discussion groups, and outings.
Function as a key staff member.
Complete paperwork as assigned.
Work with members on rehabilitation goal planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Services or a related field, and at least one year's experience working with adults with psychiatric disabilities.
Ability to relate to individuals who possess a wide range of abilities and skills.
Ability to relate to a diverse membership in a manner that respects individuals' human dignity.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong team player. Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Good judgment.
Computer skills.
An acceptable CORI.
Compensation
$13.14 per hour, plus benefits.
